Restoring Dignity, Empowering Futures: Princess Sylvia Foundation Partners with SANA PADS to Support Schoolgirls

ON THE 9TH OF JULY 2026, THE PRINCESS SYLVIA FOUNDATION FOR THE LESS PRIVILEGED IN CONJUNCTION WITH SANA PADS DISTRIBUTED FREE REUSABLE PADS FOR THE STUDENTS OF GOVERNMENT SECONDARY SCHOOL BWARI.
At the Princess Sylvia Foundation for the Less Privileged, we believe that no girl should have to choose between her education and her menstrual health. Every young girl deserves the opportunity to pursue her dreams with confidence, dignity, and the assurance that her natural biological journey will never become a barrier to her future.
In line with this commitment, the Foundation recently visited a Federal Government Secondary School, where we had the privilege of engaging with remarkable young girls in an impactful menstrual health awareness session. Beyond educating them on proper menstrual hygiene, self-care, and confidence, we distributed reusable sanitary pads to help ensure they can manage their menstrual cycles safely, comfortably, and sustainably.
For many of these students, receiving a reusable sanitary pad represents far more than a hygiene product—it is a gift of confidence, dignity, hope, and uninterrupted education. It is a reminder that they are seen, valued, and supported.
We extend our heartfelt appreciation to SANA PADS for partnering with us to create lasting impact. Together, we are breaking the silence surrounding menstruation, challenging stigma, and building a future where every girl can thrive without limitations.
At the Princess Sylvia Foundation for the Less Privileged, we remain committed to initiatives that uplift vulnerable communities, empower young people, and create opportunities that inspire lasting change. We believe that when we invest in the well-being of a girl child today, we invest in stronger families, healthier communities, and a better tomorrow.
Together, we are restoring dignity, empowering dreams, and changing lives, one girl at a time.
Every girl deserves the chance to learn without limits. With reusable sanitary pads and menstrual health education, we’re breaking barriers, restoring dignity, and keeping girls in school Building a brighter future.
